This hotel is excellent for families with children because many of the rooms are around the pool so parents can relax on the balconies while their children play in the pool steps away. We had to change rooms because they were having an ant problem with our first room but the rooms were very clean and the maids did a great job. The breakfast was included with our room. "I have stayed at Tara Mantra many times as it is a lovely friendly and very comfortable hotel. I stayed a week with friends and we all felt relaxed and made to feel very welcome. My only criticism is that the cooked items in the buffet breakfast are mainly cold even early in the service. "

"Delightful staff. Helpful in the extreme though their English is minimal. A lovely peaceful spot right on the wide sandy beach. Not a lot around and no good restaurants but the chef at Verano Beach is pretty good so, though we had a car, we ate in the hotel every night under the stars. Large, colonial rooms all in white have all the usual amenities but they are a tiny bit tired. Didn't put us off though and we hope to return."
