"Maya is a great place to stay and their restaurant is the best! Try the peanut brittle pie (homemade from scratch) when you go there as I've never had a better dessert. The pie is a legend in Belize as well as all their other fabulous food and bakery goods. A true Belize getaway, simple and fun. Clean as well!"

"I have stayed at several places within the village and I must say Nirvana is my top choice now. The location couldn’t be any more perfect, beach was clean and beach chairs with umbrellas were provided. Kayaks and paddle board were also available. As far as the rooms, they were very clean and comfortable and had touches/amenities that made it feel resort like. To top it off, the staff was just so amazing and friendly. "This property is beautiful and the staff was excellent with communication and assistance. The morning breakfast was delicious. We weren’t able to enjoy the beach due to the sargassum but it was fine we were able to enjoy the pool. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Definitely a great stay for relaxing. "

"Would stay again, and 100% recommend. Fantastic location, makes everything in Placencia very walkable. Property was clean, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The chalk board welcome with our names was a nice touch. Toucan Jacks, while not a part of the property itself, is an outstanding adjacent business that makes time spent at the property very pleasant. The only complaint is that, at least during our stay, power outages were frequent and daily. They were, however, doing quite a bit...
