"We had an excellent stay for 5 nights at Batis Beach Hotel. Our room had two balconies, and one had a partial view of the beach. The hotel is directly across the street from the beach and it's located close to many restaurants and shops. We only ate breakfast at the hotel once, but it was great. "Even though i had booked a ground floor studio we were placed upstairs because the manager thought it would be better for a family! I had booked the ground floor as I have mobility issues! The stairs were made of stone & had worn to different shapes which I found very difficult. We complained & had some money returned but this did not help with problems with the stairs! "We stayed in a standard room in the main building and it was so lovely! The breakfast was awesome and the walk down to the village was convenient. This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. A very lovely village to visit on your trip around Crete."

Coffee machine worked well and the options for coffee were fantastic. Plenty of parking near hotel, and a nice village and great beach in walking distance were of course what we came for.
