"Schönes Hotel, gutes Essen, überwiegend freundliches Personal. Leider sind viele Zimmer der Straße zugewandt und diese ist laut und stark befahren. Angeblich haben die Zimmer Schallschutzfenster. Der Unterschied zwischen offenen und geschlossenen Fenster war aber nur minimal! Wenn man nicht wie ein Stein schläft, nicht zu empfehlen."

"Unglaublich tolles Familien-Resort! Mehrere Pools, in verschiedenen Größen und auch verschiedene Tiefen damit auch für jedes Kind etwas dabei ist, 1 Minute zu Fuß vom herrlichen Sandstrand der zum Resort dazu gehört, umfangreiches Buffet, sowohl beim Frühstück wie auch bei den anderen Mahlzeiten, unglaublich großartiges Services, sehr freundlich, 100% Weiterempfehlung! "This hotel showed exceptional hospitality. We loved the room and the town. Breakfast was very good and seating was in the outdoor garden area. One thing to note is that getting luggage to the hotel can be a bit challenging because of its location. However, when we checked out, the staff kindly offered to help carry our luggage back to the main street where our car was parked. Their thoughtful service made a great stay even more enjoyable."

"We had a fantastic stay at this lovely small hotel with amazing staff. It is located about 3K from Rethymnon old town making it a quieter location for a peaceful holiday, but there are still plenty of good eateries and shops near by and a taxi into town is 12 euro. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It’s right on the beach and boasts 3 pools (one of which is indoors). There are more sun loungers than guests so you will always find somewhere to soak up the sun whenever you venture...

"We loved our stay at Macaris! We were in the family suite and the balcony was huge with an amazing view. We hung out a lot at the restaurant/bar and by the pool as well. The hotel is close enough to walk to town, but outside of the busy areas. Would come back!"

Parking can be a pain BUT I would say it’s a better situation here then most hotel options that don’t offer onsite parking - we always were able to find parking Breakfast was good, location was great. Having a pool was great for my toddler. Ac got freezing in our room which was nice."
