"We arrived to no electric at the hotel due to storm Bert. Fortunately the electric wasn’t off for long, and we were shown to our newly refurbished room. It was nicely decorated, with a large bathroom and shower cubicle. The bed was comfortable and the room warm and it was quiet. The only downside was I paid for a sea view room but did not get this. I got a room overlooking an over grown garden. "

"Lovely hotel, the breakfast was great and there are nice walks close by. The hotel bar had a nice atmosphere and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and bar staff all very nice. £30 additional charge for a small dog to stay only 1 night, while the dog was very welcome and accommodated for this seems excessive compared to other hotels. "We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and looked after us attentively. The room had a view of the lake and was comfortable and clean. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good selection, fabulous ingredients, and presentation.
