Beautiful hotel, great quiet private beach, excellent buffet breakfast included, close to Porto Cervo, Maddalena Archipelago’s tour departures, close to all North side of Sardinia beautiful beaches and towns!!! Would stay there again!!
This was our fourth stay at Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach and we enjoyed it as always. The hotel has a beautiful, picturesque location with pools, 2 private beaches only for hotel guests and a very well kept garden. The staff is brilliant. The hotel complex is not new, traditionally Italian but very well maintained and spotlessly clean. A superb, relaxed stay at this hotel, truly beautiful views and outstanding food with overall excellent service.
We booked half board as before and enjoyed delicious lunch at Pagoda almost everyday but the four course dinner with typical Italian dishes must not be missed. Grazie mille! We will certainly come again,.
Buona posizione ma troppo esposto al consueto maestrale sardo.Sttuttura soffocata da moquette nelle stanze e nelle aree comuni, datata e poco igienica .Arredo anni '70.Servizi scarsi .Assolutamente non family friendly
Dated but nice facility on the ocean with nice views. Rooms are ok but they need to improve the beds and pillows. Pillow was thin like a towel.
Breakfast buffet is below average. Food quality is below average and some staff not friendly and do not look happy they work there.
The restaurants have very limited food offerings. Not much seafood and pasta is below average. Prices are way too high but the nice situated hotels helps to improve the stay. Prices are way too high for rooms in high season.
This is our second stay at this beautiful hotel after finding it last year .
It absolutely ticks all the boxes , location is fantastic , restaurants , shops ,and beautiful coves to snorkel in , on your doorstep.
The amazing “Phi Beach” nightclub is literally found the corner but you’d never know …
Staff amazing , friendly and helpful and will definitely be going back . We just love this place .
Thank you .. again 💙
No Parking. No outside guests allowed even to visit. Restaurant closed at 9.30. No sunbeds available. Air conditioning not working properly I had to sleep with 2 cheap ventilators to help the A/C and night receptionists hangs up the phone if you ask for help.
Beautiful and isolated location with private beach and large pool areas with sun beds. Nice personnel and excellent food served for both breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The room was clean with good view and terrace, but quite outdated. The bathroom was also outdated, which was seen from a toilet where the pressure created a splash on the floor every time, even when the lid was down. It would be nice with sun beds instead of chairs on the beach as well, since most sun beds were taken already at breakfast.
This is a beautiful, if slightly dated, property. Staff and decor are austere but helpful. Rooms are dated and the mattresses/pillows are uncomfortable. But the location, beachfront, pools and view easily accommodate for all of this.
My husband and I stayed five days at the Grand Smeralda. It was a gorgeous hotel and property overlooking the ocean and pool. Breakfast was just fantastic. Location was a great launching point to take our day trips up and down the coast to see the site. The restaurants all around the area are all delicious. Definitely need a car. Would have loved a more updated open air restaurant at the Pagoda. We never went there for lunch or dinner because it seemed a bit outdated and old-fashioned. We did enjoy a delicious lunch at the pool bar. There are also very strict lunch and dinner hours. We missed lunch once and so we had to starve until dinner time. A big plus is the private beach that is so easy to walk down to and enjoy your lounge, chairs and umbrellas with the beautiful ocean and scenery. The gardens are gorgeous and so is the hotel decor. and we loved the piano man in the bar in the evening. So talented! thank you for a great day Grand Smeralda!
Ottima posizione, personale gentilissimo.
