"Bed had sand in them before we used them, like it wasn't really cleaned bed sheets in one of the beds was our only main issue, Other than It rained the entire time we were there but that is not the properties' fault. "Good accomodations. Solid. Dated, but functional and clean. Aircon worked great for meatlocker sleeping temps. TV had enough choices if we wanted to watch anything. We don't spend a lot of time in the room, so. Walkable to the boardwalk and a few local restaurants (~8-17 min. depending). Great stretch of beach with private access from hotel. Staff is sweet and helpful. Enjoyed it off-season after Labor Day. Note some restaurants, etc. are closed for the off season."

"Location is convenient which is why we stay here annually. We can go to Wilmington or Oak Island, or just around the Southport area pretty easily from this hotel despite pick up traffic and road construction. The hotels is in pretty good shape, though it might be time for a deep clean in the public spaces and the hallways. Services always friendly and fast. "Really friendly staff with clear and useful communication. They had good recommendations for restaurants and places to see. Super convenient location and a great price for a last minute, holiday weekend trip. They had bikes to borrow and water for us in the fridge after a hot hot day. This was a pretty no-frills room but had everything we needed and the staff is definitely going the extra mile to make sure you’re happy."

"It was a wonderful place, however carolina beach definitely over sells what they have to offer. I also felt very offended by the host of property. She texted me and basically accused us of leaving condo in an unsatisfactory condition, in whi h we left a day early because of a family emergency, and i did accident leave a pan in stove and microwave.
