"I am a wheelchair user. They had a ramp out front that they constantly blocked off with cars and I had to wait for it to be cleared every time I needed it. I asked for and received an accessible room. The toilet was extremely low to the ground and the handicap bar was too far away from the toilet to use. "This was the cutest room ever. Very cozy and comfortable with a good bathroom and amazing views. I absolutely love how well it was decorated and how soft it just felt. I do wish there was a little less mold around the window frames and above the shower. I'm in a sensitive group for mold and was very concerned. However, it didn't cause any issues and I would still book the same room on a future return trip. "

"You will get the best view of Dubrovnik old town from almost everywhere in excelsior hotel. Breakfast is very good both in variety and quality. Rooms are in good standard, very clean and comfortable. Service are excellent. A bit pricey but if you don’t mind spending more for nice view and service, this hotel is a very good choice. Walkable distance to and from the old town (~10min)"

"Lovely room and staff. Inviting tub in room however there isn’t enough hot water available to fill the tub. So, if you are looking for a relaxing bath you won’t get it. I recommend saving the money and renting one of the rooms without the tub. Stairs are steep at the top and could be an issue for large luggage or people with mobility limitations. "

"This is a lovely hotel with nice rooms and very pleasant /helpful staff. A very nice breakfast was provided. Importantly it is easy to get into the old town. It is about 7 minutes by bus with a bus stop almost directly outside the hotel with several buses going in that direction. You can also take a bus from here (No 10) to Cavtat a holiday location along the coast (about 30 minutes), Finally, a fine small supermarket has recently opened about 30 metres from the entrance to the hotel."
