"We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! "

"Calico Jack's in a hidden gem in Belize! You really feel like you are in the jungle on their lush grounds. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they clearly care about their guests. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room. Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize! "The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable on all things Belize. The food was always delicious. Room keeping came at least twice per day and left delicious treats at night. The organic garden is beautiful and is part of the food menu!! Fresh and delicious food. We participated in the Mayan cooking class it was fantastic. We also completed the Xunantunich Historical Site tour and Cave Tubing through the hotel- excellent guide and we learned a lot about the Mayans. From the moment we arrived...

"Great room for traveling. Loved the microwave, kettle, and fresh water in the common area. Checked in with my 16 year old son, quick trip to grocery store, then wonderful little restaurant downstairs where the kid discovered he loves fish empanadas, ate on the balcony, ordered more empanadas, met the restaurant staffs husband (a tour guide) and got number so next time we are in San Ignacio we go cave tubing, slept well, then up and out early for adventure. Long hill walk up/down to get here but supermarkets and restaurants at foot of hill. Town centre is walkable but up/down hills each way.
