"Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time."

"I was surprised that the place was quite a hike downhill. I have limited mobility and it was very difficult. It was very loud in proximity to the city which I also did not expect. "We really enjoyed our stay at Maya Bella. It was simple and super easy to get to all our activities. Good food and drinks near by. Pool was great. Air conditioners worked very well. It was nice being able to refill water bottles with their purified water and always being able to make tea. We recommend!"

"We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! "

"I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again."
