"We liked the Casa da Contador very much. It’s an old school - an amazing building. We had a T1 suite which had a door separating a generous sized bed and bath from the kitchen/dining sofa room. Good sized closet. I am rating 4 stars due to a tiny bathroom that was difficult to maneuver and it being 41/2 flights up to the 2nd floor. Parking is easy enough to not be an issue. Breakfast was okay and nice to have."

"Super freundliches Personal, aber das Meiste musste man mehrfach ansprechen. Die Zimmer sind toll, auch die Miniküche nutzbar, aber der Herd hat nicht genug Power um eine größere Menge Nudelwasser zum Kochen zu bringen. Die Anlage ist ganz schön, nur das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig. Der beworbene Whirlpool hat leider wenig Power, nur eine Funktion und kein Licht. "

"The experience was great from before we got there to after we left. The staff at Casa da Galeria is amazing! They are super friendly and professional. They will answer any questions you have or help you with anything you need. They were proactive even before we got there. Their breakfast is amazing. You order what you want to eat every day and they come right on time. They even packed us a bag of stuff since we were leaving for the airport early. They have a tiny parking garage for 3 cars but...

"The quality and size of the “apartments” (they’re basically houses, it’s great) is phenomenal for the price. "This place was amazing! Really nicely designed compound. The views of the surrounding mountains were absolutely stunning. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna. The management and staff were wonderful. Very friendly and easy to deal with. My kids had a great time too!"

"The apartment was very clean and the owners were very friendly. The bathroom is nice and big and has a bidet. It also had a washing machine which was nice! You could walk to the restaurants and to the grocery store. The street noise is very loud and you have to keep the windows open because it is very warm inside. "Place was just as pictured. Clean. Ideal location. Comfiest beds we had in our 5 week vacation. Staff had limited English, but decent French (and significantly better than my Portuguese), so overall no difficulties communicating with them. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and willing to help with booking excusions, willing to provide information. Very happy with our stay (except for the weather, but can’t control when storms decide to pass by). "

"Friendly staff, especially after a few days in the hotel. Great advice for restaurants. Very clean and excellent location. Incredible views and hikes just outside of the hotel. Dining options around holidays were limited and service was lacking. Perhaps it was due to holidays, but the special dinner was expensive and really did not match our expectations, or depart far from breakfast (which is quite nice). Excellent spa and a good value massages."
