"Pros-the property and rooms were clean Staff members were professional, attentative, helpful, hard working and polite at all times Good quality of food and night shows (ABBA was spectacular!) Cons - the gym is small and lacks toilet facilities. Lack of designated spaces for smokers, therefore we were exposed to second hand smoking! Lack of recycle receptacles in rooms and throughout the property."

"The welcome at Awali was excellent. The all inclusive starts when you arrive regardless of check-in time and it ends when you leave even if you checked out the room hours before. This worked quite well for us as our flight left at 9pm. The concierge is a gem who makes things so easy to do and has really good communication. The restaurants were fab. "The lady might have been the nicest I have ever encountered at a hotel during my years of travelling! The accommodation was very nice for that price point. Was just looking for a place for a good deal with clean sheets, and it was exactly that. There’s no front desk there so it’s best to message the property before arriving. "Overall the stay was pretty average, the WiFi wasn’t working When we left early next day they didn’t pack any breakfast for us just gave us yogurt and juice and the room decor was pretty old , when we entered the washroom there was some strong smell of cleaning fluid"

"Very nice location - loved the hike. Rooms are quite small but will do for a night or two. The food is great at dinners but very poor breakfasts. They can cook some eggs and the rest from the buffet: yogurt, tasteless bread, some cheese and musli - that’s it. Overall a nice stay but no more than 2 nights"
