"Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall. Wonderful staff, friendly and courteous. In particular the chief chef who made fascinating meals in local style. "From start to finish our experience was perfect. The resort is has an air of island chic and decadent luxury. From the room, to the resort grounds, all of the facilities are pristine. The real stars however are the staff, in every case made us feel welcomed and valued but also with a friendly energy and with with touches of humor where appropriate. We will return soon."
