"Great room overlooking the canal , lots of space and a settee. The only disappointment was one radiator in that size of room was not enough and we had to ring down to reception to get an additional heater. This was brought to the room very quickly and did solve the problem "

"Stayed at The Pied Bull for 2 nights March 2025 & have stayed there a few years ago. Lovely hotel /pub with a warm comfortable atmosphere about it. Comfy bed, spotlessly clean, good facilitates. Good hearty full English breakfast. The staff are great & very welcoming. Enjoyed their thursday night quiz too. Location is perfect as right in the heart of historic Chester. Its near lots of shops, bars, restaurants. Easy access to the walls around Chester too. I would highly recommend staying there. "
