This place is charming and a great bargain at the price. My only complaint is that it faces a busy street, so I would advise trying to get a room that is not in the front of the building.
We stayed for one night before flying out of Chiang Mai airport and loved it. We booked a family room, which was essentially a very large suite (much bigger than we expected). The complimentary cokes and water were a nice touch. We found the staff to be very friendly and enjoyed the included breakfast, which included made to order eggs, a small portion of ham, and various fruit, yogurt, cereal etc.
I have never written reviews before but I feel like this hotel deserves a good review. I have booked a room for 2, one of my friends and her 2 year old daughter decided to join us at the very last minute, so when we checked in and asked the receptionist whether we could pay more and add addtional bed on the same room. The staff arranged two single beds for us and suggested us to combine them together and it can sleep for 3 adults plus one toddler. He will charge us at no cost!!! At the beginning we are quite skeptical about his suggestion, but after seeing the bed it made sense as their single bed is huge and definitely can fit us all in, bear that in mind that we are Asian size so if you are European size then it might just be enough to sleep one. The room is very clean and staff is very helpful. The only downside is there is not many shops around the hotel and the receptionist said there is a market within walkable distance but we never been there so not sure how long it will take. The receptionist is very helpful if you need any taxi/ tuk tuk he will arrange it for you. Overall, we had a very good stay and received an excellent service!!
