The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). "Selva Verda is in a beautiful location on the Sarapiqui river, slightly further off the tourist trail but a true eco-lodge. Great place to stay to immerse yourself in the Costa Rican rainforest and spot wildlife. We spotted a lot within the lodge area. I would recommend the guided nature hike which took us further into the grounds of the lodge. The guide was very knowledgeable and went at a manageable pace for our group of mixed ages. "Berlor Inn worked well for us as our airport stay. It was close to many car rental agencies for easy pick up/drop off. The courtyard and pool was a nice little oasis after travelling. The breakfast was made fresh."
