The king size bed was very comfortable. The chalet was darling inside. Don't let the photo on the website fool you. "This is a little hidden gem in Alajeula! The restaurant/bar staff was especially friendly, helpful and polite. The bartender/mgr. Christopher, was exemplary! drinks were excellent, breakfast was quite tasty. The grounds are so lovely, we just regret we didn’t have more time to walk the trails of the property. The road facing room we had was pretty sparse and a bit noisy. I would recommend you upgrade to at least an interior room."

"Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Observatory Lodge and Glamping. The dome was so unique with beautiful views but they were clean, furnished beautifully and the amenities were modern. It is truly a family business and the property is clearly cared for with love.
