"We lived this quirky Mtn hotel. A collection of various cabins, containers, tents, grand old trees, beautiful gardens in a farm setting complete with donkey! Beautiful views across the mountains. Loved the local community vibe as well. Breakfast was very tasty in a lovely setting. The only negatives were beds are very firm, be prepared and the room had a huge tub, but not enough hot water to even fill it 1/4 full. Still, would stay here again for the idyllic setting. "Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....
