"The hotel staff were all friendly and efficient. The hotel was in a convenient location for exploring the city. The rooms were small but comfortable. Food was of good quality for evening meal and breakfasts. Parking was limited soonly those wh get there early get a space and its £20 a night"

"Good spot close to the shops and a short walk to the centre. Quiet rooms, comfortable enough. Nice breakfast, friendly service. Great to have parking included in the stay as many hotels didn’t offer this, even though it isn’t the hotels car park, it is incredibly close and v accessible. "

"Lack of acknowledgment when arriving to check in. Two staff focused on computer rather than saying hello and asking me to wait a moment. Similar on check out. Woken at 8.45am by someone drilling the next room which was disappointing."

"Excellent base to explore Clifton and surrounding area . Staff at Avon Gorge are excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and a member of the team went out of her way to find a table on the sun terrace of the White Lion . Great Breakfast with an amazing view of the suspension bridge. Will return . "
