"A nice room with a nice patio overlooking the lovely and large garden. Breakfast was nice and they didn't mind that we arrived late. We enjoyed going just next door to the puma rescue center to see many indigenous animals. This place was great for a night after arriving LIR airport before we kept going on our Costa Rica vacation."

From the staff to the food to the pools and activities, it is a 5 star experience all around. Just over an hour from LIR airport, this should be on your list of places not to miss while in CR."

"The staff was great. Checkin was a little confusing because I had 2 reservations that I needed to merge. But that got sorted out well. The place is generally clean, but a little dated. There are a number of rooms that are out of service. My understanding is that a new investor started just last year and they are working through modernizing the place. For the price it was perfectly fine."
