"Loved everything about the property lush, tropical, sounds of birds and animals. Just what everyone needs to relax."

"This was a great place to truly experience the beauty of this part of Costa Rica. It is a long drive and one must be careful to take the right roads but we had a great experience and wish we could have stayed longer."

"Great stay, great food, great chocolate, great staff. A MUST!!!! Great first night in Costa Rica, they really made it memorable. Definitely will be back."

"Best Stay of Our Costa Rica Trip — Malekus Mountain Lodge This was, hands down, the best place we stayed during our 10 days in Costa Rica. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but we had the pleasure of being the only guests, so Roger and Rosy treated us like family. They helped us shape our itinerary to have a more authentic, local experience, and honestly ended up defining our whole trip. "The nicest people and wonderful hosts. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. We entered the dining room and they just started bringing out entree after entree, fruit, eggs, gallo...

"This is a lovely place the breakfast was great all fresh ingredients and made locally. The rooms have everything you need, no TV, enjoy the nature."

"Une vue superbe, dans un coin calme. La chambre est grande avec une superbe terrasse. C’est calme et bien équipé, avec un accueil très attentionné"

"Most beautiful property I’ve ever stayed. Breathtaking views. Amazing flora and fauna. Amazing sounds. Beautiful lodge. The best!"

"The room was nice and the breakfast very delicious. The pool was closed, there was no water in it maybe they renovate it, not sure. To get there is quite a long drive on gravel roads but we enjoyed seeing so many birds in the morning."

"The property was quiet, away from town a few minutes. The hosts were so friendly and wonderful to us. The bungalows were in very good shape and very clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!"

"Everything was fantastic. Very helpful host Nana. House is in the provate secure area behind the electric gate. Lots of space, beautiful inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen and even laundry room. Loved the huge patio and the garden."

"A very beautiful place, quiet and super pleasant"
