"Nice old pub building in the centre of the small town. Down stairs arras were very nice with a cosy and traditional atmosphere. On checking in was advised kitchen was closed for 2 of the 3 nights. Breakfast (American pancakes) was very poor. Room was ok but tired around the edges. Very few power points and signs of a long term leak from shower which is always off putting. "We loved it here - quite secluded and beware the Devon country lanes that access it, but it’s in a stunning location and we even stayed an extra night! The staff were brilliant and the food was faultless. Lots of doggos too :)"

"Had a lovely visit to The Seagate on Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th and left Monday 10th. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely. The only thing the bed was a bit hard. But I guess it’s a matter of preference. Food was fab. Had a wonderful weekend away."

"Julie my wife and I stayed at kates farm for three nights for a break and a rest, we had a great break and we are totally rested. Fantastic break, Julie and Kate walking dogs every morning and evening, I kept the real fire going and that was perfect for us to sit down next to in the evening. Others said the breakfast was great and they are correct, Kates breakfast was fantastic .Kate was very attentive at all times and we felt perfectly at home."
