"Lovely hotel, old, cosy and quaint. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Parking at the back was a bonus ( note, a little sign would help, missed it the first time and had to go around again). Great breakfast to start the day. "

"Mediocre stay, property very clean and set out to a high standard. The beds were very soft and hard to sleep on not very comfortable. The heating was very high and made for an uncomfortable evening. Other than that a great stay and good value for money for a night to stay. -fyi the bread in the sandwich bags was a weird touch. "

"Lovely location with a common ground opposite the property with Horses and Deer. Just a 30 minute walk into the City Centre and 5 minute drive from both the LNER Stadium (LCFC) and the Bomber Command Memorial Centre. The owners Gordon and Deborah were very nice, greeting you when you arrive and even taking your bags up to your room for you if required. They also offered to drop you into town if you wanted.
