"The location was great! Easy to walk everywhere (unfortunately there was a lot of construction around the hotel) but still able to get around. The staff was wonderful, so accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The room was perfect for a family of three (pull out sleeper sofa for our child). "

Having been converted from a family friendly place, you have the two huge pools, one exclusively for folks that book a Level room (think VIP within the hotel). Turns out at least the Level one is also heated - didn't spot that until we got there! The room's were spacious and spotless, and always topped up as needed. The restaurants were all very nice The food was pretty good (buffet was top notch...

"The hotel setting is lovely. The rooms are sparsely decorated and the ac is not good enough to properly cool. Very few food choices in the room and at the restaurant. The gym in the morning was dirty and unkempt. The gym facility was all-together underwhelming. The massage was sub-par. But it was tranquil and relaxing. "

"This hotel is a jewel. An ancient palace completely refurbished. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. It’s in the old town but nearby are plenty of restaurants and tapas bars"
