"This was an amazing place. The young man at the desk helped us with water shuttles to the next Idland. He helped us get to the airport. It was incredible what he did for us. "The hotel is on the island of Lido about a 40 minute taxi boat ride away from Venice. We didn't realize just how far away it is, it's not a convenient place to visit Venice. HOWEVER, the hotel is Beautiful and is literally on the beach. There is something about walking along the shore of the Adriatic Sea. The beds were comfortable, and rooms large for Italy. "

"The hotel is a nice, comforting hotel. The staff was very polite, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was quite good if one purchased that option to be included. The only down sides were the water pressure of the shower, it was very weak. Also, we were unable to adjust the AC, likely user error. Unfortunately, we slept with the windows open and received many mosquito bites. However, I would recommend the hotel due to the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness. "

"This is a fantastic property and very well run. The breakfast was terrific - be sure to ask for eggs if they forget to offer - and cocktail hour lovely. The day staff were friendly and helpful. The man on the evening shift, however, was almost unpleasant when we asked him to cancel a dinner reservation (an hour in advance) that they had made for us earlier in the day. Not sure why this was an infraction? FYI!"
