A big THANK YOU!
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Place was clean and well furnished. I liked that the floors were tile and wood/laminate throughout (no carpet).
The staff was friendly and attentive. When Expedia messed up my reservation, they worked with me to get the room I had requested. When Expedia made a second mistake and reserved a second room for me at 11:30pm that night, they worked with me to get ahold of Expedia to correct that error and get it refunded.
Shabby property... broken drywall, door handle dangling... smoke odor lingering in room... No amenities, not even a coffee pot. Check in while standing outside through a plate glass window with a slit to slip ID under the glass. Didn’t pay much, so that was good... but prob wouldn’t stay again.
Overall this was okay. Was disappointed there was no coffee maker in the room, and none available in the lobby because of COVID. My husband asked housekeeping for an extra pillow as we headed out one morning, and was told no problem. When we returned in the evening, I had to walk down to the office to request one. There was a dog that barked a lot, but a call to the front got that resolved quickly. For the price, I think we could have stayed at a better hotel.
Rooms are OK for a cheap stay. Design is interesting and the rooms were pretty clean. I like cool little "booth" style table. So much better than a useless desk or whatever if you're planning on eating a quick meal in the room.
Since it's cheap though, there were always people smoking on the walkway.
The hotel room wpuld have been fine, but we found unmarked pills on the floor and drops of blood on the quilt. My dog almost ate the pills, which could have killed her.
