"The in-room mineral bath was so rejuvenating. The shuttle service to near-by train stations was convenient. The meals were “out of this world” scrumptious and unique to Japan salmon, tuna, barracuda, etc). The staff were kind and gracious (and busy). This place is a gem! "This is our 2nd time staying here, somethings have changed. We arrived at Kawaguchiko station lately evening due to bus problem from Oshino Hakkai. Then bus services around Kawaguchiko were no longer available. We called to hotel but there was no pick-up service anymore. We had to take a taxi to go to hotel that very expensive. As we arrived late, there was no dinner service either. We had to buy something to eat from lawson. In the morining we had to check out early. The owner helped find the...

"Had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the fujiyama base. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. It was just a couple of minutes from the train station so that was a big plus. Would consider staying there again if we were in the area. "
