"The resort is beautiful. We enjoyed the little strolls we had around the hotel property with the little animals (peacocks are a bit noisy to be fair). Our reservation includes 1 hour river rafting which was quite scenic and also saved us the trouble of having to get the tickets separately outside. The hotel itself though is a bit far from the town centre. We weren't able to make use of the free shuttle due to schedule conflicts but it was quite convenient to call a taxi to get into town."

"My parents enjoyed the place thoroughly. The room was nice and clean, and the service was great. We booked the panaroma view room and the balcony was nice. It has a washing machine too. We would definitely stay here again if we come to visit again. "

"Very tranquil location by the lake, great break from the stress of the city. Can go hiking up the mountain or biking along the river. Hotel will lend the bike for free. Warm and accommodating staff. Best to get a lake view room. Classic decor. Rooms are clean too. Three floors no elevator. "I felt compelled to write a review due to the conflicting emotions. The service from the staff - the ayi maid and the waiter/concierge - was absolutely first class. The room was very comfortable and had a superb view. The food was also pretty good, just don't expect much from a bacon breakfast. However! The noise! At night the sounds of karaoke from the town bounce off the mountains and hit the hotel hard. At 6am the construction from the neighbouring hotels begins, even on a Sunday. And...

The food which was absolutely amazing and the afternoon tea is definitely worth hanging around for.
