Only negative is the smoking in the lobby, pool table, roof top terrace area. Did not realize it was smoking hotel or I would not have booked but overall a great stay! "

"L'hotel est bien situe, l'accueil est chaleureux, la chambre VIP2, tres spacieuse, confortable, propre et tres bien equippee. Le petit dejeuner buffet est tres bon. La grande terrasse est agreable. La salle de bain offre une baignoire plus une douche. Seul le coffre fort manque. Excellent rapport qualite prix."

"Très bonnes prestations, hotel conforme à ce que l'on voit, propre. Par contre, cat ba a commencé de grands travaux d'agrandissement de la baie en gagnant sur la mer, donc la plage n'existe plus, et cela crée quelques nuisances car les travaux consistent à enfoncer des plots de 20m pour stabiliser la digue / remblais... et ce journet nuit. Malheureusement ce sera partout sur toute la zone... heureusement que la chambre est plutôt pas trop mal isolée"

"Hai and Chilly were fabulous hosts, communicative and always happy to assist in any way. As it was winter we opted to stay in the village. The family sized room with 2 king beds and bathroom plus your own seating and hammock out the front situated in lovely gardens was a great place to recover after doing the Ha Giang Loop. Basic breakfast is included, lunch and dinner are available with dinners being shared dishes with other guests which gives the opportunity to meet others. You can hire bikes...

"Cat Ba is a resort town with lots of mid-range restaurants and markets selling the same thins. We had hoped to bicycle more but it is very hilly and the bicycles available were not up to the task. With non-beach water, there isn’t that much to do. Roza Palace, is a nice hotel with friendly staff. "
