"I have visited this property four times since 2012. The hotel is beautifully nestled in the forest and lit up with pin lights, the rooms are lovely and spacious and come with a deep plunge bath. It is convenient to walk to the slopes, on the main shuttle service and one can walk to surrounding restaurants, bars and ski rentals. "the man running the place is just lovely. he spoke the best english of anyone we met while in japan for two weeks and was super friendly. every morning the breakfast was a little different, he drove us to the bus station at the end of our trip, and he was always available for questions and advice. the private onsen (hot tub) was excellent after a day on the slopes and all in all it had a more bed and breakfast vibe. it’s a 10 minute walk to echoland (restaurants) and a 20 minute bus ride to...
