"We received a call the day before so that the host knew what time we would be arriving, and she was looking out for us on our arrival. The room was bright and clean with plenty of storage. Breakfast was nice too and served quickly. We only stayed a night to attend a family barbecue, but would have been happy to stay longer. "

A simple and very adequate buffet breakfast was available for an extra fee, which worked for us. There was the offer of a more elaborate breakfast as well (eggs, etc).Enjoyed a friendly chat w host Brian during breakfast. We could easily return to Cranston House!"

Full of period features and although we only stayed for one night we did have a chance to stroll around the farm and surrounding area. Superb full english breakfast featuring a lot of produce sourced on the farm. A perfect place to stay to access all nearby countryside and amenities."
