"I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Oleo Cancun. The property looks nothing like the polished, upscale resort shown in the photos. In reality, it feels outdated, poorly maintained, and far from the luxury experience being advertised. The room was in rough condition, and the bathroom was especially problematic. The shower did not drain properly, causing water to collect and sit for an extended period. Basic maintenance issues like this should not exist at a resort charging these rates....

"One of the main pools had been shut down for renovation since March and we arrived on June 1st. There was also one of the main restaurants shot down for renovations. The day after we arrived they were redoing the lobby as well. Although there were lots of renovations which limited some of our activities the staff were 100% attentive and amenable. "We had an outstanding time with our two kids (20 months and 4.5years old). The property is wonderful and so are the people. Food is available throughout the resort with no wait times, same goes for beverages. Loungers were available at any time during the day as well. "Everything was amazing!! Just wish there was a little more activities, things to do at the actual hotel. The food was good, but the reasturants were constantly booked. I was also disappointed because we did all inclusive, but it excluded canned beer and higher quality alchohal. Overall it was a wonderful experience, but when they say all-inclusive Everything should be included. Obviously besides shore excursions"

"The hotel seems to have a lot of fame, but it is certainly not worth the exorbitant price per night. The room itself was clean and the staff was extra helpful and kind. The downside, though, is that the pools are very "exposed" to the sun and the shade is almost non-existent. There are umbrellas but they are not too helpful. "The hotel is beautiful we had the walk out pool room excellent room but it was my birthday weekend and had to cancel plans due to our room not locking they say breakfast is included but not anything on the menu they give you so you get a bill with your breakfast I was not compensated for the room and we left mid trip . This hotel is perfect for a couple or solo people who want to do nothing but read and relax there is nothing walking distance and one restaurant with not to big of a menu"
