"Good location as a base to explore the peninsula, close to shopping, other beaches, diving. Private beach was a coconut's throw from the balcony to the caribbean. Awoke to striking sunrises and a stiff consistent breeze offset the warmer temperatures."

"Very unique location for a home to rent. Almost all others in the area is hotels. On the boardwalk and walkable to a lot of restaurants and bars. Keyless entry, that manually locks. Furniture was not clean. Shower burning hot, but there is an outdoor shower. "

"This property is actually part of Jaguar Reef (a total of 3 resorts) with 2 pools, multiple bars, food options and the amazing dock bar. We had such a fantastic time here. It was relaxing, but also there are plenty of activity options to book if you want to fill your day. Our room was top notch and felt luxurious. We can't say enough nice things about the staff. "Truly stellar pool with three areas of different depths. This allowed children to play more freely while parents enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was limited food options with highly variable quality. Note this area of Placencia has lots of sea grass and sargassum that washes up on the beaches daily. So depending on your level of comfort swimming in and around it, you may not be able to use the ocean. When it decays it smells heavily of sulfur. "

"We loved our stay. Everything was wonderful from the view to the accommodations. The staff is AMAZING! Vanessa was our favorite as we spent the most time with her. We loved our personalized notes each night as well. The only negative is that the huge balcony only had a small sofa type bench to utilize. Would have loved to have a small table and chairs with a couple lounges. "

"This is a gem! The rooms are comfortable and clean, just as pictured. We stayed in the travelers roost; and I really like the space and distance upstairs from the other rooms. the property is very cute, and well maintained. The staff is so helpful and accommodating! I would stay here again. The only thing that is mentioned on their site is their restaurant isn’t open for dinner everyday."

"We had a wonderful stay in the seafront villa at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff we encountered were great. It was very nice that you were able to schedule your housekeeping anytime between 8am - 8pm as to not interrupt your day. Julio was great making sure we were well cared for, whether it was a room service order, or a maintenance request, he was responsive on WhatsApps within minutes. My husband and I enjoyed a great, relaxing 5 nights at Jaguar Reef and plan on returning again in December. This was our first time in Hopkins Belize but certainly won't be our last!"
