Stayed for 2 nights at Umaid Bhavan with family. Gorgeous heritage property, and rooms were spacious and very stately! The hotel premises were very clean and well maintained and staff were friendly and polite. Their onsite restaurant was good and the buffet breakfast that was included in our room tariff was delicious and sumptuous with plenty of north and south Indian as well as western continental options. Our stay was very enjoyable and memorable.
We had an excellent stay at umaid bhavan. It may not be a true 4 star property but for a heritage hotel, it more than makes up for it with its distinctive character , friendly staff and tasty food.
Location is not that great, but not a show stopper for most travelers with their own transportation.
Some of negative reviews are because of high prices in peak seasons ...
The hotel is located in a beautiful historic haveli that is beautifully furnished and very well maintained. The restaurant is attractive with good food and a large menu and there is a free live cultural show every evening. If you are coming to Jaipur for tourism, you really should stay in a heritage hotel and this one is an excellent choice
A beautiful property! Great restaurant and restaurant staff!
Check in staff not good or welcoming and originally put us in double room when I had booked twin room and been in touch twice to confirm!
This hotel was Gorgeous. It felt like what ive always dreamed India would be like. It had so much character. Our room was spectacular. Had a balcony overlooking the hotel with its rooftop terrace. At night there was always dinner and a shiw which was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly, welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed. They made us feel so at home. I highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and unique stay.
Very well maintained, authentic food with a lot of variety and excellent service. It’s a quaint and beautiful building and outdoor areas so great for someone who was to get a feel for the local culture.
Empfehlenswert
