"This was our second time staying at Beyt al Salaam. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From start to finish, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. People went out of their way to help us. The room was kept clean and serviced. There is a restaurant that serves delicious food. The hotel is conveniently located in a lovely part of Stonetown and near to the beach. What made this stay so wonderful was the staff at the hotel who are simply brilliant. Thank you!"

"Excellent location and overall great service. A few things can be improved given the price. - Breakfast is very bland and could use improvement—fresher breads (ideally baked daily), ripe fruit (two days I was there, the fruit served wasn't ripe), better training of the chef who makes omelets; they were often overcooked; have an option for adding cheese to the omelets which wasn't available. For $17, the breakfast was wanting. - The room was musty, likely related to the high humidity environment...

"Loved our stay at the tempo b&b! The staff was amazing, especially the two men that helped us with our bags to the room. The dining room is right on the beach so you can have your breakfast staring out at the ocean. From our studio room, we were on the top floor and had a nearly 360 degree water view and we were right in the middle of the touristy part of town. "Shoki Shoki House, Stone Town – Great Location but Noisy Night We stayed one night at Shoki Shoki House in Room 1 (Deluxe Double, Ground Floor) to explore Stone Town before heading to Jambiani. On arrival, we had to wait 20 minutes to check in as the room had just been sprayed for mosquitos. "Die Reservierung lag trotz Bestätigung nicht vor. Trotz angegebener Rezeptionszeit war keine Person da die etwas entscheiden konnte. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer neben dem Pool & unter der Dachterasse.
