Koutsounari truly is a small slice of paradise on the already beautuful island of Crete, and Ioanna the property manager has created a unique and authentic Greek experience with the cottages. From the architecture to the interior decor, every detail is well thought out to create a traditional feel while still providing all the modern amenities we are accostomed to (wifi, climate control, etc.). The area itself is peaceful and quiet, and the beach, grocery store and dining options are all within walking distance. If your travels take you to this part of Crete, do yourself a favor and look into staying here, I know you won't be disappointed..."

Wonderful stay

"We absolutely loved the New Aurora Apartments. The rooms were super spacious, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we could need. The parking was easy as well. We were close to numerous cafes, shops and restaurants so didn’t have to go far for food etc. It was also a short walk to a lovely secluded beach. It is a definitely somewhere we would come back to in a heartbeat. "

"What a beautiful retreat! This was such an amazing place with wonderful staff. Everything was gorgeous, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was incredible. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine at dinner was my favorite part of my Greece trip so far. I’m in love with the place and can’t wait to come back. "Super place to stay near the beach with fantastic views of the bay. Rooms very practical and clean, bed very comfortable. Poool and bar pretty great place to relax after day windsurfing. Wish we had stayed longer, very good value, will be back next year."
