"What a beautiful resort this was. We stayed there for our anniversary trip. The staff from welcome to dinning to housekeeping were are super warm and friendly. "This property was lovely and we especially enjoyed taking the canoes through the waterway for 7 minutes to the beach. The spa was wonderful and the restaurant on the property is excellent. Fabulous breakfast buffet, and they will make eggs for you. Two nights was not enough here!"

"Remember, this is not about a 5 star stay. This is a family home near the beach. Jimmy, his wife and his son Emile, offer a delightful, 'all we can do to help' environment. It's lovely and your not trashing the environment with loads of ultimately unnecessary extras. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Great home cooking...excellent trips and good aircon. Thanks guys. "

"A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together. The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!"

Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. "A beautiful property that is 160 years old staffed by lovely people. Everyone was helpful - especially with local attractions and booking boat tours. Breakfast was good. The pool is good but could use a clean and currently there are no loungers - due to be replaced soon. The owners are building a restaurant on site which will be a great addition."
