"The room was clean and comfortable. The mini fridge, microwave and table with 2 chairs are good accommodations to have a casual meal or snack and avoid the need to eat out. The staff was friendly and helpful. I received an upgrade to my room on the day I checked in since it was off season and there were open rooms. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay so close to the beach."

"When I went to the establishment the building was closed for the season a employee met me with keys and explained they tried to get in touch with me through Expedia , which I did not see a message saying they were closed , only saying about road construction in front of the building The women said I could have the keys to the hotel and stay alone without any staff there , my daughter and I were not comfortable with the situation ,and explained to me she had another hotel down the road that...

"I’ve stayed at Ocean a few times and it’s one of my favorite hotels. Overall I still had a great experience, but there were a few downsides during this stay. The room doors are very thin, so hallway conversations were extremely loud. The bathroom also really needed an exhaust fan because it became very humid after showers. The shower pressure was poor and the shower head sprayed water in different directions, making showers take much longer than they should. The sink also kept clogging despite...

"The Lamplight, as always, was spotless and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat- a block from the beach and super close to restaurants, shops and bars. My only wish is that each room would be supplied with its own Keurig. One of the treats of staying in a motel is waking up and having a coffee in your bedroom before you even get dressed. While coffee is available at the motel, I’d be happier not having to go outside and sometimes downstairs to get my morning caffeine fix!"

"Parking was right up to the outside facing door which was nice for checkout I could easily load my stuff up, air conditioner/heater worked very well keeping the room cool at all times, staff was super friendly and informative. Only downside was my door was near an exit I guess people were coming in and out of and my door ended up getting banged on loudly a number of times in the morning, overall for a one nights stay for the price it was a pretty good experience "

"The staff was super-friendly and inviting. I couldn't stop talking about how charming this place was, nestled right in the shadow of the Trop. Our room was very clean, and bathroom toiletries were provided. We enjoyed a great complimentary breakfast before we departed on Sunday. I would definitely recommend to all of my friends."
