"When I went to book the room there was not a handicapped accessible room. But when I checked in that is what we got. I did email the property and asked for a ground floor room stating why. So I was pleased to have gotten this. The is a great breakfast and lunch place Mangrove Mikes next door. Also Lorelei’s is a short walk and the have good food over looking the water. "

"The room was clean and updated. For some reason we could hear the traffic all night. Not many dining options with out hoing up to Islamorada (20 minutes north) or down to Marathon (20 minutes south). The water here is beautiful nut no beach to enter the water. The free kayaks and paddle boards were very nice. Staff was Freindly and helpful. The Florida Boy resturaunt only had 1 waitress, but the food was very good. "My family and I stayed at the Hadley for a family wedding nearby. We found out that they upgraded our room upon arrival which was much appreciated! My sister and I shared the 2 br ocean view suite which featured a wrap around balcony. The hotel offers free breakfast/coffee, paddle boarding and bike rentals and more which we did utilize. There are only 2 bikes and paddleboards which worked for us but could be limiting for larger groups. The location of the hotel was perfect for us and there was a...

"I was looking for a one night stay in Islamorada that wouldn't break the bank, but still be comfortable and clean. The Chesapeake Resort fit the bill! Rooms have been updated and resort was clean and quiet. It has a nice area for sunning and two pools. There isn't a restaurant or bar on site, but they do offer a very good continental breakfast with made to order eggs and a bar cart with quality liquor, beer, and wine. Also, two restaurants are within walking distance. "
