The room was fairly clean and it looks like they recently remodeled the room, but it's not perfect. The AC/Fan seemed like it was as old as the building. The grounds and building were alright, but definitely need some updating. The internet was HORRIBLE, it was WIDE open with no password required and NO guest isolation, it was like the wild west of wireless access. Additionally, all the room TVs are also on the network so I was getting a notification every couple minutes to allow a connection to a "smart device", even though I was not trying to connect to the TV at all. The worst part about the notification, since the remote is a custom remote, you can't deny it or get the message to go away at all, so you are stuck looking at the notification until it goes away. I opened a Samsung remote control app and just scanned for TVs to see what was on the wireless network, EVERY SINGLE TV was available. No wonder I kept getting those notifications to connect a smart device every 2 minutes, anyone could try to connect to any TV as long as they were on the wide open Best Western wireless network. I brought this problem up to staff, but I don't think it was addressed at all before my stay was over. My recommendation, if you HAVE to use the wireless network, make real sure you are using a VPN to tunnel ALL your network traffic or anyone can see what you are doing online, and I would not do anything sensitive on the wireless network like banking.
