It was fine but not great. I received an upgrade which was nice but not mentioned at time of checkin.
Room was a bit grim. Stains on floor.
Staff checking in was unhelpful. I asked a question about the facility and they told me to google it.
Weird and cold experience.
Great location and staff. However the room was incredibly bland. And the shower needed the finesse of a safe robber to manage - 1mm either way in the hot tap was the difference between scolding hot enough to melt your skin off, or cold enough to be considered an ice bath.
Averagely, the hotel is OK. The cleanliness is not doing well as an used towel was in shower room without being cleaned up. The quantilities of amentities are not paired with its room price, and even a slipper and a shoehorn are not available. The room size is big enough. There's no type-C plug. The TV function is shortage of youtube channel and the available channels are the same as those old ones, which you'd never like to watch. The location though is in south bank, there's no coffee shops around. The worth thing is walking distance to the river side to enjoy good seafoods/beefs at a nice restaruant!
Not happy with our stay this time. We have stayed at the Promenade for many years and were disappointed when we arrived to be informed there is no longer in-room dining. This is something that should be noted on the system as this has changed just as of a couple of months ago. If we had known this we would have stayed elsewhere
Disgusting. Bed was wobbly and not supportive. Sore back. Pillows were used and crumpled. No bloody room service are u kidding that’s what people want especially in a 5 star crown hotel!
I ordered balloons for the room as it was my husband 60 th birthday. The numbers were around the wrong way so it read 06. Really. What the actual…… nobody could care less. Never going back.
Hotel room was dirty and clumped long hair found in drain in bathroom shower.
This hotel has no room service at all.
Airconditioning system in room was broken.
Overall cleanliness and condition of room was terrible.
I have been a long term guest of this hotel but will not be going back.
Hotel Manager Ellis did not even care when informed of the state of the room.
Check in slow, even with a Hotels.com receipt fully paid; mini bar not restocked but a mini bar check is charged for; remote control not working so no Foxtel accessible; not really 4 staff accom - there is much better available in Melbourne.
