"Enjoyed our stay. Nice pool and private lounger area on the side. Breakfast was huge and had a lot of options. The private beach nearby was nice and we were only about a 10 min walk from Coral Beach Club which was great. The hotel had a beautiful sunset and live music outside on the terrace. Rooms were a good size and although it had carpet it wasn't that bad. The only negative thing was that the bar fridge and safe were not working but then they came to fix it. It was about a 10 min /10 Euro...

"The beach was wonderful, breakfast could be better as there is no change on the menu so every day is the same and pastries cold look better, staff very friendly, charges made to the room very difficult to understand when they give you the final statement as there is no regards between what you know you paid at restaurants and the way they show you the charges at the reception on the day you are leaving. "You will get the best view of Dubrovnik old town from almost everywhere in excelsior hotel. Breakfast is very good both in variety and quality. Rooms are in good standard, very clean and comfortable. Service are excellent. A bit pricey but if you don’t mind spending more for nice view and service, this hotel is a very good choice. Walkable distance to and from the old town (~10min)"

"Great location and decent food. Closer to airport than we realised ( good thing for transport), but not a problem with noise. Modern property, large open seating area lacked atmosphere on same level as reception. Only one bar on this level. Restaurant on lower level, snack bar on lower level out near the pools. Self serve drinks at restaurant/ snack bar during open hours. Outside this time, seemed only one bar on upper level by reception. Drinks- all inclusive below standard - soft drinks...

"What a little gem this place is. Like any holiday it really is what you make it. I had read reviews about 'too many wasps' and 'lack of food variety' but come on ... what do you expect in the heat of 30 degrees celsius and buffet food for over a week? There are many positives to this place with a few ... realistic recommendations. We absolutely loved exploring the island, where else can you say that you rent an island for a week and dive into every nook and cranny to swim on private...

"Hotel was big, clean and had a nice view. Staff friendly and helpful. The downside noisy, limited sitting area at the lobby. The pool is nice, big but very noisy and lots of children. There is no space to swim. Food is good, coffee was very bad. Dinner time no drinks you will need to purchase water for 5 Euros a bottle. Overall great hotel for families with young children not for adults "
