"Truly perfect location within the city walls. Short walk with luggage, so that was no an issue. The property itself has only stairs, no elevator, but that was once again, not an issue. Recommendation - because the location is phenomenal, make sure to walk the walls as soon as they open. Wonderful property. "

"The hosts communication was great- she was incredibly helpful in guiding us in Croatia and sharing the bus schedules. We booked this as a budget stay and definitely wish we stayed closer to the water / closer to more dining / beach options. Re-using towels/beach towels for 4 days started to get bothersome. "The only challenge is that the apartment is at the top of two flights of narrow, steep stairs, and there's another flight up from the bedroom to the living area. If that's not a problem then everything else is great. There's a balcony (view of the building opposite, but you're in the Old City!). The double glazing effectively blocks noise, the aircon works. Because you're in the Old City everything is just there .. loved it. "

Our host, Mia, was incredibly welcoming, keeping in touch via WhatsApp before our arrival and available throughout our stay. Great stay at Sun Gardens.

"Sun Gardens was a surprise. We stayed in the residences and got upgraded to a 2 bedroom. There were fireworks at night. We only stayed 1 night as we have to fly out early the next day. I wished we could have stayed longer. It is early in the season and still cold for the beach and outdoor pools. But we got to enjoy the sauna and indoor pool. Overall, we loved our stay."

Lovely hotel convenient to Old Town

"Excellent efficient staff. Super clean rooms. Plentiful breakfast choices, even arranged take away bags when going on early morning tour. Only 15min walk to Old Town, or bus number 4 stops 50metres from hotel. Good food in the Panio bar. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay."

A wonderful hotel

"A wonderful hotel in a breathtaking location. We chose a sea view and wow, what a view - breathtaking. All staff were friendly and helpful, we chose underground parking for 10 euro/night, but there was on street parking available. Our suite was lovely, spacious snd spotless with two bathrooms and a kitchenette. We had a living room and a huge bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The gym is well appointed and the indoor swimming pool is lovely - we were there in Winter. Breakfast provided huge variety and was tasty.We had a great stay."
