"A nice private room in a communal environment, residential neighborhood. Communication was difficult, dependent as it was on phone and internet (which I did not have) for virtual access, especially in the dark of late evening. "My second visit. Great location surrounded by interesting places to visit with some wonderful hikes around the coffee farms and streams. My room was lovely. Clean. "Amazing views and the host offered me great insight into the area and history of Jamaica and Kingston It is NOT close to the actual city. I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites. It was clean and I felt safe the whole time"

"I had a bit of difficulty finding this place. Firstly, this apartment is not in New Kingston, but rather in a place called "Mona". Therefore, the name is slightly misleading. I booked this location and was eventually moved to another location, which was quite nice in the end, however, the security that is at the gate for this apartment complex needs to be aware that there may be guests checking in here that booked through Expedia.
