A very nice place off the beaten path but near the centro and close to the park. Cabin was comfortable especially bed but bathroom could really use some updating even though it was clean it gave you the sense of not being. It was also very tiny barely room for toilet and small shower. Staff and service both excellent though and a vey nice big pool.

Three of us had an absolutely wonderful stay while visiting the falls and other attractions. The staff is absolutely fantastic - always there to help with suggestions. Included breakfast is very good, with multiple options to pick from. We had our own car so transportation was easy. Accommodations are spacious and comfortable. Setting is quiet and attractively landscaped. The 2 pools are welcoming. What a gem!

A serene retreat at the edge of the rainforest, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The property offers excellent amenities, including two swimming pools nestled in lush greenery, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. With only eight cabins, the experience feels intimate and exclusive, enhanced by a fantastic team dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. While it may not be a luxury resort, it is the perfect place to unwind, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy exceptional service. Highly recommended—we would return in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at Overo! All the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, the grounds is incredibly lush and filled with a spectacular array of plants, including giant bamboo and monstera, avocados, bananas and pineapples and a lovely array of tropical flowers. The two pools, one of which is quite large, are shared by only 8 cabanas so you often feel like it’s your own resort. The cabin was charming, well stocked and very clean and comfortable, with very good AC (though the house stays nice and cool under all the lush tree cover). A la carte Breakfasts are delivered to your cabin each morning and include fresh squeezed juices, hot milk for coffee, house made granola and other special touches. The highlight of our stay, however, were the dinners in the beautifully designed restaurant. Each meal was unbelievably good and two of the three nights we were the only diners (despite the resort being fully booked). Every dish we had was a delight both visually and gastronomically. Service was impeccable, and extra care was taken to accommodate my husbands gluten allergy. We felt like we had a Michelin chef serving is or own private meal each night! Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

A truly special place, perfect as a base for viewing the Falls, and a warm and welcoming space. Breakfasts were delicious and generous, staff went the extra mile, and the whole atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend!

We were here for 3 nights, the staff and their care were above and beyond good. The sweet treats each day were delicious. The pools were lovely. The “ villas” well not quite villas more like an updated cottage. Parts of the cottage are updated, but it is still a little dated. The A/C works, the bed is comfortable, it was nice to sit out front in the morning and enjoy our coffee or a glass of wine and our morning breakfast was excellent. There are only 8 rooms and you are close to the main road, though the grounds make you feel like you are in a tropical jungle. There is only one restaurant for dinner which is expensive . We ate there twice and our last night we got a taxi and went into the town which is 8 minutes away. There are also bikes to use and we biked all the way into town and back. This is not a 5 star hotel, more like a laid back quiet spot to relax.

Great location, within 15-20 minutes drive from the falls and airport. Very lovely setting with lush vegetation and lots of cute animals. Also very quiet even though it is right on the main road. Staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

The property is lovely. A beautiful walk in a tropical forest. The staff were so kind and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make the trip a great experience.

We stayed at this property in villa #3 over Christmas, we had some trouble with our flights and travels and the host staff was very kind and great at communicating with us about what time we would arrive. When we got to the airport there were no cabs available and they were able to send us transport to pick us up and bring us to our lodging! They also did a special Christmas Eve dinner that ended @10 which was when our plane arrived. They kept the dinner open for us and provided us the special meal, they even kept the harpist to play for us while we ate. Everyone was very kind and made us feel welcome. I have multiple deathly allergies and they were very accommodating! There is a nice short trail around the area, 2 pools, and a restaurant all clean and well kept! Every day there is a new surprise treat food for you to eat which was one of our highlights of our stay! The breakfast is included and is brought to your villa at the time you decided in the morning! It was very good and fresh! We were even able to learn about Yerba Mate and have a social cup with host staff! I would recommend this stay to anyone planing on taking a trip here! They also helped by getting a cab to bring us to the national park, someone to help us exchange our US currency, and someone to get us back to the airport! Thank you so much to all the staff!

Beautiful property
Beautiful property nestled in a mini forest...we did not see any wild animals but the property was Beautiful. Staff is very friendly and always trying to make sure our stay is comfortable. Restaurant has limited vegan options for dinner but breakfast had decent vegan options.

Really Amazing Stay - Bathroom Could Be Better
Our stay at Overo Lodge was amazing. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is fun. There is a nature walk on the grounds. You get access to the animal sanctuary next door. The lodge itself was beautiful and fully equipped. It had a kitchen and we were able to cook meals. There is an upstairs section with two twin beds. The main bed is super comfortable. The AC works really well - almost too cold, but perfect after coming back from a hot and humid day exploring. The living room is super comfy with good access to TV and a superb internet connection. The staff are amazing, too. Front desk was always there to help and answer questions. They even let us check in pretty early and greeted us with welcome drinks. They were really communicative before our arrival - willing to set up travel from the airport and more. They even leave treats each day you stay. Breakfast was ace. You have a menu that you turn in the day before and they bring whatever you requested the next morning at the time you request. Everything is super fresh and cooked perfectly. The chipas were yummy and they even have champagne you can order to make mimosas. My only issue was the bathroom. It was dated. The hot and cold water taps on the shower were switched, so I didn't take a hot shower the first night and had to request help from the staff to figure out the issue. And finally, the toilets are not great and ours wasn't filling completely filling and we had to figure that out. If they fix that, it is perfect.

Had a lovely stay at Overo! They provide room service and allowed me to have a late check out at no extra charge. Although it is slightly removed from the city center, it was easy to arrange transportation through the front desk. They even arranged for our laundry to be picked up and dropped off. Oh and I still dream of their mate alfajors!

These really are lodges in a jungle.They are ideal for self catering as fully equiped. Breakfast is brought over to your chalet. It is isolated so you need taxis or your own vehicle to go anywhere

Such an amazing property! With comfy individual cabins that are perfectly decorated with a comfortable bed to the service, drinks, and food - we had the best time! Make sure to take a walk around the property as each area of the property is beautiful and lush. Located a quick 20 minute drive to the falls to made for the perfect day trip! We hope to come back in the future!

Fantastic stay at Overo lodge. The staff could not be more accommodating and flexible with checkin and out. They organised taxis for us for the airport and to the falls. Perfect place to relax after a day at the falls, lodges are well equipped, very clean and amazing breakfast in the morning. Will definitely be back again
