"If you are traveling to Avignon check out this hotel. It is located at an ideal location within the central part of the city and is close to many restaurants and shops. We were greeted warmly by the staff. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready but we were able to check our luggage and begin enjoying the town. "Michael was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was simple. The location of the property is perfect. We could get dropped off by taxi nearly at the door but were also walking distance from everything in the walled city we wanted to see."

"It was a wonderful historic hotel with many excellent staff caring for our every need. The restaurant 5 star with delicious creations. Breakfast staff helpful and some excellent choices to eat before we set off for our day. Mathilde was wonderful and not only looked after our food choices but also gave us a few destination suggestions. From here it is a short trip to Pont de Gard where we swam below a Roman bridge also Gordes and Isle le Sorgue. Hope to return."

"The bathroom was so small I had trouble sitting down"

"The property is a VRBO Style not a hotel. We had problems finding the place initially and had to call Pauline who was very helpful and came out so our Uber driver could get us to the property. Very nice pool and jacuzzi. Our room had a beautiful jetted jacuzzi tub and fancy steam shower. Location is very well situated and about 8 minute walk to the pope Palace and adjacent restaurants."

"Staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The facility is lovely and the rooms were quite cool (considering the heatwave). Breakfast was great (assortment of breads + spreads, pastries, meats + cheeses, yogurt + applesauce, coffee, juice, etc.) Next time I am in Avignon, I will certainly be staying here again!"

"We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. "Lovely central location"

"Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"
