"The hotel was lovely, from the pictures, I did think it was on the water, unfortunately it was accross the road. Over all I found it expensive, 10frs a night for parking, a coffee 4 frs, breakfast 20frspp and the local tax of 3.80 pp all adds up. Thats another 60frs on top of the price of the hotel per night!! "Fabulous location overlooking Lake Maggiore, and across the road from the ferry port, making it super-easy to visit the Borromeo Islands and even Switzerland! The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. What was particularly nice was the free coffee bar in the lounge and the "sweetie bar" in reception, and the welcome drinks & nibbles were an exceptional touch.
