Staff was very friendly and helpful. Provided us a room that was available for an early check in!! Going through renovations, but property has maintained a clean and comfortable environment! Would stay there again!
We normally love a Hampton Inn, but we showed up tired and exhausted at 8:30pm. There was no one at the check in counter! They were away on a break! We waited 10-12 minutes, until the associate showed up. She apologized, and then explained that she was on her mandated employee break. I asked where was another associate to cover the front desk while she was on a break? There was NOBODY but her...
She is a wonderful employee, and does not deserve to be treated like this.
Come on Hampton, hire another employee!

We arrived and checked in. Keep in mind that I reserved 2 rooms together so that we could be side by sid with my brother and his wife. We were given rooms 211 and 213 but when we got to the rooms my key would not work on 213. I went down and the clerk fixed the issue. I went back up and opened the door. My husband walked into the room and suddenly turned around and came back to the door telling me that there were clothes in the room as if someone were staying in that room. I again went back down and told the clerk what we found. She said that she was sure that the room was vacant. I said no ma'am it is not. She went and spoke to her manager and came back saying that there must have been a glitch in their system and she would have to assign us another room. She did but it was on another floor. I explained that I had made the reservation for the 2 rooms together and why but she said that there were no more rooms available on the 2nd floor and we would have to be on the 3rd floor. Our stay other than is was fine but what could have happened is what is scary. What if the person had been in the room 213 when we opened the door and thought someone was breaking into their room? We could have been shot! Is there not a check list for the front desk to know what rooms have been vacated? This was very disturbing to me.
This hotel was a nice hotel to stay at, I just didn't have a good experience with the service. After my first night, I noticed ants in the bathroom and reported it to the front desk; the front desk lady assured me my room was going to be cleaned and house keeping would spray for ants. Needless to say it took a whole 24 hours for housekeeping to take care of the ant problem in the bathroom.
It was agreat stay. Cleaniness is a must for me and it was cleanand comfortable. Excellent and friendly service from employees. Breakfast was good overall. Just need to teach the young man on one of the mornings how to cook eggs. Bless his heart he was trying though.
