I always like to frequent small, family run businesses where possible and the owners have done a fine job of hosting guests with spotlessly clean and comfortable accomodations.Showing us to our room to make sure we knew how to adjust the heat and use the television was a nice touch as was the good coffee with real cream available in the office the next morning.
Great value for the money. Convenient location: close to St. Andrews, the US-Canada border crossing, and the highways leading to St. John's. The room was recently renovated, clean, and comfortable. The location is very quiet. A nice touch was the availability of coffee and tea in the office.
We were late arriving the owner waited for us. The room was recently updated and very clean. Definitely worth the rate we paid. A great place to stay on the way to the border.
Clean, rather hard bed, old but refurbished. Staff very nice and helpful. No breakfast, just coffee and tea and crackers. Need outlet in bathroom, higher mirror needed and more power outlets. Very good place to stay but no pop or snacks machine. Still recommend!
Room was small but immaculate...it is an older building, so the necessary electrical plugs for all the electronic gizmos we have today were lacking...butwe managed to adjust...
This was a nice clean motel. Coffee should be available in the rooms. It is not available until 7 am in the morning which really does not suit early risers.
We stayed at this motel last year on our honeymoon. When we went out East this year it was our first motel when we crossed the border and it was our last motel before crossing again heading home. The only thing i guess i could say negatively about it, is that it doesnt have a complementary breakfast just coffee or tea available in the morning. No big deal though. It was the only thing i could think of..lol
