We stayed at Longshan Hotel for three night and it was quite a pleasant experience. The hotel is within a short distance from Longshan Station and is surrounded by convenient stores, including 7-11 and bakery shop which is quite handy in the morning. When we first arrived at the hotel, it was quite early (around 11 a.m.) but the receptionist was very kind as he allowed us to have an early check-in even though the real check-in time is 3 p.m. However, I didn't get the room on the third floor as I had previously booked. Instead, we were given the room on the second floor. Despite, the previous negative reviews about its noisiness, we found the room 205 quite decent enough - it was fairly quiet as we couldn't hear the morning chanting from Longshan Temple as most of the guests had experienced. Despite its relatively small size, the room has on offer basic amenities - hair dryer, soap, shower cap, toothbrush, boiler. However, you should bring your own extension lead as there is only one socket in the room. Overall, the room seemed clean and decent. However, we could have liked it better if we hadn't noticed a small bug which looked pretty much like a cockroach on the ceiling one night and it shortly fell right down onto the blanket!
