"One of the best hotels we have stayed at, from a lovely welcoming when we arrived to when we departed. Good nights sleep in a comfortable bed, all very clean. Breakfast was superb.Towels provided for the swimming pool. If there’s one little gripe it would be bath/shower was very awkward to get in and out of, due to lack of space. We had an economy inland room, so maybe this is why. I would like to thank all the staff for a fantastic weekend. We would return. Looking forward to our next stay."

"A lovely clean and friendly place to stay. Very comfortable beds, nice decor, ample amenities for us. Lin, who runs this business is incredibly warm and attentive. She offered additional fresh chilled milk or water from the fridge conveniently located in the pretty dining room and asked if we wanted breakfast or some lunch. "The owners are absolutely lovely and incredibly inviting, always ready with helpful advice about the area. There is daily housekeeping which was good. The rooms were cosy and comfortable. The location is fantastic, with free parking available on nearby roads and just a short walk to into town. "

"Our free upgrade to a beautiful king size room with balcony was just what we were looking for in our short Torquay stay. The whole hotel was clean, our bathroom was spotless, the balcony had wonderful views of surrounding villas, green areas and of course the sunny view down to the water! Ganesh couldn’t have been more welcoming upon arrival and he provided us with all the information we needed. "Convenient position. Efficient people on reception. Nice cosy room. I didn't like some noisy guests with no consideration for others e.g. late at night loud talking of adults and children and banging doors. May be a notice in all rooms saying please be considerate to others and close doors quietly and not to speak too loudly. A hook needed on back of bathroom door to hang towel."

"Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp.
