"Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. "The staff was amazing. The food was good. The room was beautiful. I stayed in one of the above water bungalows. The only downfall is there is very little to do nearby. You are pretty much stranded on this island unless you arrange some kind of transport or tour. If you’re looking for a vacation where you can totally check out from the world this is it. "Wonderful place for wildlife spotting and red frogs! Comfortable room, super helpful staff. Beach is lovely although sea was rough. Quiet, good food, very laid back.You do need to walk through the jungle to get there, good path!"
