"Room was lovely and clean. Brand new bathroom. Rest of room could do with updating but room was spotless. I had one of the rooms that opened to outside. The door was a little drafty was the only downside so had to turn the heating upto max to stay warm. But would 100% stay again."

"My family and I had an amazing weekend, we had a small child and 2 dogs with us and everything was great. The lounge area was stunning, this is where we had drinks and breakfast. The Townhouse we stayed in was absolutely stunning and actually looked so much better in person, the photos didn't do the place justice. We will definitely be back! "

"This is a great pub, in a lovely location. Rooms are delightful and the manager/staff helpful and approachable without being overbearing. We dined in the chalet in the evening and the pizzas were marvellous, as was the wine. The breakfast was also fantastic. This was our second visit and we are already planning another!"

"We loved our stay at The Close. Very convenient, room was cosy and comfortable, the staff were friendly. Our only negatives were we felt that the drinks and food by the bar were overpriced for what they were and breakfast wasn't great (we had to wait a very long time to be served). "

"Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it is a lovely place with the lake being a beautiful feature. The hotel is really nicely decorated and clean, the reception is inviting and the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Our only criticism was the bed, it’s a very small double with a very soft mattress which did not allow us to sleep well but that my suit others. "
