"The staff at this hotel all deserve 100 stars. They are the nicest, most welcoming staff we’ve ever experienced in Thailand. They truly made our stay. We loved the character, staying here is like staying in a piece of history, that was wonderful. We also loved that it’s quiet, on the river where it’s cooler, and away from the hustle from the busy streets of Bangkok. Mr.Lou the boat captain is the greatest guy! "Lovely little hotel nestled away in pincalo, quiet and peaceful hotel setting in a busy area. Sadly wasn't easy to get around but first time in Bangkok and lacked local knowledge. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was basic, comfortable and clean. If you want to stay in pincalo I highly recommend staying at Charlie house."

"Location was not good. However, the staff were lovely, and the room was comfortable. For the pool area, the pool was great, but there was no shade at all. Where the chairs were located was a framework, so shade could have been easily added. "
