"Booked primarily because it is close to jr station. Downside after 8pm nothing nearby open except family mart inside station. Staff were great. Assisted filling out the luggage transfer form and retrieving card when I locked my self out while checking out. Bed is firm and comfortable. Ac can be controlled. Shower press is great "

"This is our second time staying at this hotel. We booked the Basic Twin Room. The bathroom is quite old. It was very different to where we stayed in last year (we got a "new" room). I think this needs to be renovated, but the room itself is quite comfy, except the air conditioner. We tried to set the temperature to the lowest with high fan, but the room was still hot and stuffy especially when sleeping. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with the stay. "Great location near Aso-Kuju National Park and Kurokawa Onsen. We drove a car and were ablw to access the parking lot with no issues. It's also conveniently beside the Aso station. Staff were incredibly friendly. The communal kitchen was always stocked and clean. Washers and dryers are available to use, but require cashless payment."

"Check-in was a little confusing as I had just wanted to leave my bag at the concierge before returning later for check-in at 3 pm, but the reception staff didn't seem to understand. Before I knew what was happening, they checked me in early (around 12 noon). Unfortunately, the cleaning staff were still cleaning the room, so I had to just leave my bag in my room while the staff were cleaning. Other than that, the hotel was fine. Breakfast was a set Japanese menu of rice, natto, miso soup, fish...

"Nice and clean. Convenient to walk to the shops. Other Daiwa is better with a combini directly beneath it. Shower screen could have at least been wiped down. Looks like years of scum has been left there. No on-site parking available and upon arrival no where to park to drop off bags. Need to inform staff prior to remove bollard blocking parking space but otherwise would not have known. Hotel has an offer with a parking station 250m down the road. Far to walk if you have bags and spots are TIGHT....
